Our 843rd Dad in the Limelight is Bryan Albrandt of Dad and Bloated. I want to thank Bryan Albrandt for being a part of this series. It has been great getting connected with him and now sharing Bryan Albrandt with all of you.
1) Tell me about yourself, (as well as how you are in the limelight for my readers knowledge)
My name is Bryan Albrandt. I’m a father of 2 boys. In my professional life I am a creative director at a fast growing spice company. In my spare time I love to make humorous videos poking fun at parenting and marriage. I invite you to follow along and maybe even get a chuckle or 2.

2) Tell me about your family
I’m married to a wonderful wife who absolutely adores me. My first son is a tornado with a heartbeat and my 2nd is just a couple weeks old.
3) What has been the largest challenge you have had in being a father?
Not punching my toddler back when he hits me.
4) What advice would you give to other fathers?
As bad as you really want to bodyslam your toddler when they’re acting up, just remember, you will need them to take care of you someday
5) How have you come to balance parenthood and outside life?
At first it was difficult because I have many hobbies but I decided to take my hobby of making funny videos and turn them into Dad/Parenting videos instead. This way I’m being a dad and getting to fill that need to be creative.
6) What have you learned from the fathers that you have interacted with?
That the hard times you go through are not unique. Some other dad is having the same issues dealing with his psychopath toddler.
7) What else would you share regarding your experiences as a father thus far?
No matter how hard it gets or how much you want them to get through a phase just remember they’re only that age once. So just enjoy it because they grow up fast.
8) What have been the most memorable experiences that you have had thus far as a parent?
I love when I come home from work and my son is staring out the window waiting for me. The smile on his face is absolutely priceless.
If you have any questions for Bryan Albrandt, please leave a comment here and I will make sure that he gets them so that he may be able to respond!
