I had the opportunity along with some other great parents to be a part of a round-table video chat with Bryce Dallas Howard to talk about her new documentary DADS. I got to screen the documentary before this and was completely impressed. I loved how well she told the story of fatherhood and how she portrayed a culturally diverse group of dads from around the world. Not only is she talking to non-celebrities, but she also interviews and shares perspectives from celebrities such as Will Smith, Jimmy Fallon, Neil Patrick Harris and more.
While watching this film I was completely impressed with the questions and the connections that Bryce was able to make in her personal life. As you go along you not only get to know her family, but you get to see and experience what makes fatherhood amazing and unique. You can tell that Bryce went into this film with an open mind about dads and you can tell that she truly loved the learning that she found by the end. I also appreciated the fact of the wrapping up of the experience of her own father to the birth of her niece with her own brother.
Each of us on the call got to ask one question to Bryce. Bryce was open and honest and definitely is someone that I would love to meet in person!
